Raif, my cute eight-month-old ‘fur ball', went missing in Abu Dhabi's Al Bateen area last month
Recently, I lost my Persian cat and I am writing in the hope of having my precious ‘fur ball' returned to me. He went missing in the Al Bateen area of Abu Dhabi on October 14 — a Wednesday evening.
Raif is a white Persian mixed breed cat and has brown eyes. He is eight months old. I believe it is not going to be an easy task to find him, since he has not been microchipped and was not even wearing a collar at the time of his disappearance.
My missing cat is very naughty, cute and friendly. He is alert and responds to his name when called.
Raif is not used to cats of other breeds, so he may misbehave with stray cats. He loves tuna and it is easy to lure him with it.
I have gone around my neighbourhood and put up posters describing Raif, along with his photograph. Sadly, I have not received any positive indication of his being found, yet. Yet, I still have hope and would be grateful to Gulf News and the community, if they could contribute to helping me find my beloved cat.
If you have any information about Raif's whereabouts, please contact me on 050-5329277.
