Hamdan issues decision for staff appointments

Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, in his capacity as Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council (DEC), on Wednesday issued decision No. 3 for 2008 appointing Salem Mohammad Ahmad Musmar as Assistant General Manager of the Health, Safety and Environment Control Sector of Dubai Municipality.

Musmar was also promoted to the rank of Executive Director. Shaikh Hamdan also issued decision No. 49 appointing Salah Abdul Rahman Meer Abdul Wahid Amiri as Assistant General Manager of the General Support Services Sector of Dubai Municipality and promoting him to the rank of Executive Director.

The decisions were issued on the grounds of decree No. 21 for 2007, issued by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which authorises the chairman of the DEC to appoint executive managers and assistant and deputy general and executive managers.
