Temperatures across UAE expected to fall gradually from September
Al Ain: Mercury is expected to fall gradually all over the emirates with an increased humidity at evening and late night during this month, according to the national weather centre.
September is the last in the summer months in the UAE that comes under the influence of different low and high atmospheric pressures, said a spokesperson of the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
Conditions would become pleasant at night, particularly in the second half of the month. An increase amount of clouds are also expected to hover around especially in the afternoon, with chances of thunderstorms and rain at times in the mountainous regions of the emirates.
The NCMS official said the slight and gradual fall in temperature will also accompanied by increasing relative humidity in the evening and late night that may cause light fog in some areas.
The south-easterly winds would continue to blow during the day time, changing to north-westerly in the afternoon. There wind speed will generally be between eight to 15 knots, said the official.
Expected temperatures and humidity
Coastal Areas will have temperatures between 24-44c, with humidity at 15-98 per cent
East Coast will have temperatures between 28-41c, with humidity at 16-95 per cent
Interior Areas will have temperatures between 25-47c, with humidity at 15-93 per cent
