Rain forecast during National Day celebrations

Dubai: Rain is forecast on Monday during the UAE's 37th National Day, but celebrations are set to continue.

A duty forecaster at the Dubai Meteorological Office, said: "It could rain at any time. The air trough that we have had for the last couple of days is set to continue for another five, so there is a chance of showers throughout the National Day celebrations." Rain is also expected on Tuesday.

Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates are expected to have similar chances of rain.

Temperatures on Monday will reach a maximum of 27 Celcius, with a minimum of 19 Celcius in Dubai. Average humidity across the UAE is currently 55 per cent.

Winds are also expected to build up on Monday evening.
