Hot and hazy weather expected to continue in the UAE for a while
Al Ain: Hot and hazy weather is expected to continue in general all over the UAE with high humidity at times over the next 48 hours, said the meteorological office.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), light to moderate northeasterly winds would blow in most parts of the country. The wind could kick up dust and sand over open areas.
Humidity is expected to increase at night and early morning in coastal areas. The sea will remain calm with two to four feet high waves offshore.
The maximum temperature is in the range of 40 degree Celsius and the minimum is around 28 degree Celsius in almost all the major cities. Humidity is between 25 to 85 per cent.
The hottest places in the UAE were Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain on Tuesday, where mercury rose to 43 and 42 degree Celsius, respectively.
