Emirates Post launches special postmark to mark 2nd Sharjah Reading Festival

Sharjah: Emirates Post has created a special postmark to mark the 2nd Sharjah Reading Festival in association with Higher Council for Family Issues – Children's Centre, Sharjah.

All mail is being stamped with the Arabic message “Let's Unite to Read'', from March 5 to 12, 2008, to raise awareness about the importance of reading in the lives of children and adults.

Ibrahim Bin Karam, CEO of Emirates Post, said, “Emirates Post has joined hands with the Higher Council for Family Issues to promote the habit of reading among all people, especially children, as reading plays a major role in shaping the character of people and also in accumulating knowledge.''
