Ras Al Khaimah student transferred for assault

Ras Al Khaimah: The Ras Al Khaimah Educational Zone has transferred to another school a student who assaulted a teacher in the classroom.

The preparatory school here though recommended dismissal of the student.

A senior zone official said the student was not dismissed and was being given one last chance to reform. Sources in the school said the student, identified as A.H, is a 16-year-old and still in Grade 6. The student was a key trouble maker in the school, they said.

School management said A.H., always used to harass the teacher.

During an Islamic class, he continued to harass the teacher who refused to keep silent this time, and scolded him. The management said A.H. began assaulting the teacher who in turn defended him.
