In Family Development Foundation’s adult education centres, educational care centres and placement centres, examinations will start on June 9 until June 13 for G6-G9 students and until June 17 for G10 and G11 Art and Science stream learners respectively.

Examinations for adult education and home schooling learners will begin on May 28 and continue until June 3 for G7-G9 adult learners and until June 5 for G10-G11 adult learners.

As for home schooling, exams will end on June 11 for G10 and G11 Art stream learners, on June 9 for G11 Science stream learners in addition to G8 and G9 learners, and on June 5 for G7 learners.

Mohammad Salem Al Daheri, Executive Director of School Operations at Adec, who approved the third trimester final exam schedule in the emirate of Abu Dhabi for the school year 2012-2013, lauded the decision issued by the Ministry of Education to extend exam time from 90 to 110 minutes in order to allow sufficient time for students to answer exam questions.

“The schedule development process took into consideration appropriate scheduling of exams in accordance with the size of subject materials and discipline requirements. Only one exam is scheduled per day to give students the chance to be better prepared,” Al Daheri added.

“All necessary preparations are being made by Adec to ensure smooth and well-organised examinations,” he said.
