Dubai Police chief gets world’s largest gold medal

Dubai: Dubai Police have awarded the largest Medal of Honour in the world to Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Chief of Dubai Police, in a ceremony held on Friday, at the Armani Hotel in Dubai, to celebrate the succession of Dubai Police. The Medal is considered to be recorded in the Guinness Book of World as the largest of its kind in the world, The medal is made of copper plated with 24 karat gold, and it is of 109 centimetres in diameter and has been manufactured in the workshop of Dubai Police.

The Dubai police ceremony was attended by a large number of top government and police officials who were honoured by Lt. Gen Dahi.
