Man commits suicide in Sharjah

Sharjah: An Asian man has reportedly committed suicide at his accommodation in Sharjah, an official at the Sharjah Police told Gulf News yesterday.

The police said the Bangladeshi man,33, ended his life by hanging himself with a rope on Sunday. He was found hanging from the ceiling of his accommodation in Sharjah Industrial area No.6.

Officials from the Criminal Investigation Department and forensic experts inspected the scene of the incident after Industrial police reported the matter on Sunday, an official said. The body was transferred to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy while the police have started an investigation into the incident.
