Abu Dhabi video series launched on web portal
Abu Dhabi: The Department of Municipal Affairs has launched the second and third in a three video series on the popular web portal,YouTube and its Middle East equivalent, Ikbis, said an official.
The videos, titled What is Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi (Department of Municipal Affairs) highlight recent achievements of Abu Dhabi and related municipalities (Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Western Region Municipalities) through public dialogue and testimonials on the developments currently taking place in Abu Dhabi.

Denis Burke, acting executive director of the Municipal Affairs Governor told Gulf News: "We took this step to spread our views about our activities and get comments to build a stronger social structure and to make sure to be in contact with the public."
YouTube and Ikbis have been chosen to help the media-savvy Department of Municipal Affairs articulate its mission of providing distinctive municipal services that enhance the quality of living for all residents through coordination, oversight, and monitoring of the Abu Dhabi municipalities and municipal councils, as well as ento courage transparency, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and accountability between the three municipalities and the public.
The duration of the video What is Abu Dhabi is nine minutes and includes visual highlights from Abu Dhabi, along with discourse on current developments and the future direction of the emirate from tourists, expatriates and nationals.
The video titled Abu Dhabi (Department of Municipal Affairs) runs for just under six minutes and features candid dialogue with Dr Juan Salem Al Daheri, Chairman, Department of Municipal Affairs, as well as Hamoud Humaid Al Mansouri, General Manager, Western Region Municipality.
The DMA is inviting people to visit these two sites and provide some feedback on the initiative and the video, share their thoughts on the city, or even post testimonials of what they would like to see develop throughout the three municipalities, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the Western Region.
