Abu Dhabi residents will be able to give their views and suggestions on leisure space provision in the city
Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi residents will be able to give their views and suggestions on leisure space provision in the city. Abu Dhabi Municipality is conducting a Community Services Survey among residents to check satisfaction and progress with leisure space provision. The five-week long survey will start on Monday.
Awaidha Al Qubaisi, Acting Executive Director of Municipal Services at Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, said: "The Survey is designed to engage and encourage residents to participate in a quick interview to gather their opinion on standards and measure their satisfaction with parks, beaches and other community services across the city. It also seeks residents’ input for future services to be provided through neighbourhood community centres. Their views will help planners at Municipality of Abu Dhabi City gain insight into such issues," she said.
"We know open spaces and community facilities are of real importance to city dwellers and a valuable boost to quality of life in the urban environment," Awaidha said.
"Information like this will provide us with a far better knowledge of what people need, like and want from their public spaces and help us provide the quality of service to which Municipality of Abu Dhabi City is so committed."
