Advertising campaign asks users to upload their image in a competition

Dubai: Etihad Airways is tapping Facebook to encourage fans to submit photos replicating the theme of the recently launched global brand advertising campaign. The campaign — “The World Is Our Home, You Are Our Guest” — was launched on March 3 through a commercial and later supported by print, digital and outdoor advertising in major markets. To enter the competition, users must upload an image of themselves and their home city into the “Be My Guest” competition tab to create a bespoke Facebook Timeline cover image.
