Riders out in force for Cycle Challenge

Dubai: The countdown to the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge continued with more than 550 cyclists converging at the Al Qudra cycle track for the third Spinneys build-up ride ahead of the main 92km event on December 15.

Topping the men’s race was Rashid Mohammad Ghulam and Cedric Domont who both crossed the finish line with a time of one hour, 34.22 seconds while Mansoor Ali Thani came in third.

Nichola McDonald took first place in the women’s race with a time of 1:40:59, followed by Kim Percy and Julie Luyt in the next two podium spots.

The fourth and final build-up ride will be held on November 24 covering 85km at the same venue. Further information on any of the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge events may be obtained at:
