Abu Dhabi: Pin Breakers captured the 3rd Land Bank All-Filipino Bowling Championship Trophy beating more experienced opponents in the final step-ladder stage.
The Pin Breakers bowling team finished fourth in the preliminary round leading to the step-ladder but put on a strong show in the final matches and outplayed the contenders in style.
Minister and Consul General of the Philippines, Maria Teresa Taguiang was the guest of honour and speaker during the awarding ceremony.
She awarded the Land Bank Championship Trophy to the Pin Breakers led by Joboy Balayan, the Team Captain, Alyssa Corpuz, Iman Boloushi, the Manager, Ali Boloushi and Boy Morales.
Also attending the function were Neil Santiago, Deputy Tournament Director and Over-all Coordinator and Manny Inserto, Assistant Vice President and Regional Head - Middle East and Africa of the Land Bank of the Philippines and Chairman of the League, Mogens Mikkelsen, Director of ABC Private School and Vicky Mikkelsen, Coordinator of ABC Private School awarded the first runner-up trophy to Abu Dhabi Ship Building, second runner-up trophy to TGIF and third runner-up trophy to X-Busters.
Aside from the trophies, the winners also received cash prizes.
