Abu Dhabi: An absentee funeral prayer will be performed on Wednesday in Fujairah for the soul of Emirati martyr Captain Pilot Khalid Mohammad Al Shehi.
Prayers will be performed following Duhur prayers at Martyrs Mosque in Al Qadfa, Fujairah.
The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces had earlier announced that an aircraft had crashed due to a technical failure while performing its duties in Yemen as part of the Saudi-led coalition’s operations, leading to the martyrdom of one of the crew members, while some others went missing.
The General Command expressed its heartfelt condolences to the family of the martyr, praying to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in Paradise.
