Dubai: More than 338,000 people across 36 countries benefitted from Dar Al Ber Society’s Ramadan charity projects.

Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of the society, said the Iftar project — organised in mosques, schools, institutes, prisons and universities — benefitted 249,266 people. Al Falasi said that the project was implemented in 116 mosques abroad and was carried out with donations valued at Dh1.21 million.

A total of 42,225 poor people and orphans benefitted from the Zakat Al Fitr project, while the Eid clothing project aided 2,421 people. The food baskets project helped 44,225 people.
