Abu Dhabi: A total of 10 public schools in Abu Dhabi will now go on to implement a locally developed technological educational solution, the UAE Ministry of Education announced in a statement on Tuesday.

The education ecosystem by Alef Education provides a fun and easy-to-use digital learning environment that includes a blend of videos, games and interactive activities, and has already been piloted at Al Asayel public school in Abu Dhabi in 2017.

The agreement to implement Alef was signed on Monday in the presence of ministry officials and Alef senior executives. The technology will reach 6,000 students in Grades 6, 7 and 8 from the start of the 2018-2019 academic year.
