More street lights needed in Al Nahda

I would like to draw the attention of authorities to the fast growing area of Al Nahda Dubai, near the shopping centre. There are no street lights in this area, especially on the inner roads which see much more traffic during the evening. Many residents cross the street in the dark to access the near by mosque for prayers or the bus stop.

Crossing the roads in these conditions can be extremely dangerous as it is difficult to see the surroundings in an area where cars are speeding by. These roads are also accessed by many people using the alternate exit to Al Nahda 1 from Ittihad Road. Hence, I request that the authorities take the appropriate measures to add more lights in the dark streets of Al Nahda Dubai.
