1. Fed up with watching and keeping up with the Kardashians, spin-offs and re-runs? Go climb a mountain and give yourself a break from the K-crew.

2. Living in the urban jungle of Dubai, you need to fine-tune your survival skills for the
upcoming Dubai Shopping Festival. Climb the Carstensz Pyramid in West Papua and let the local Dani tribe (a naked, 5ft nothing, spider eating, bow-and-arrow-carrying, facial-andamazing-neck-jewellery clad jungle tribe) teach you how to survive better!

3. Lost your favourite lipstick and eyeshadow and the shop has discontinued the colours? Aaaaggghhh... Head up a mountain where Mother Nature will love your natural beauty.

4. Feeling unchallenged at work and think all your great skills go unnoticed by your boss? Show everyone your self-worth by getting to the summit!

5. Are the UAE winters still too hot for you? Allow yourself a polar treat at Mount Vinson in Antarctica. Just don’t pick up a penguin on your way back.

6. Want to have that fabulous Kylie/J-Lo/Beyonce figure but not blessed with the right DNA? Go climb Mount Everest in Nepal and get yourself one!

7. So you learnt to ski in Ski Dubai, Mall of the Emirates, and now you want to upgrade to a bigger hill? Hike up Mount Elbrus in Russia, get to the summit, snap your skis on and come back down in UAE fashionista style.

8. Have an amazing talent for yodelling and want to show it off? Clamber up a mountain and set the hills alive with the sound of your music. Just don’t yodel at the bottom of the hill and bury yourself in an avalanche.

9. Looking for the ultimate blow-out for your hair and your hairstylist just can’t get it right? Go climb a mountain and return to sea level with a windswept barnet that’ll keep its volume for years to come.

10. Find a sponsor for your trip to the top and give the money to a charity of your choice. It’s a great way to double your sense of achievement.
