Prix Pictet, one of the world’s leading photography prizes, is opening its exhibition “Fire” today September 30 at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai, running to October 16 with admission free to The public.

“Fire” is the ninth cycle of the Prix Pictet, with selected works from 13 photographers this year, from all over the world including Lebanon, Austria, South Africa, Lebanon, Japan, Benin and Cambodia.

This year’s winner was selected at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, American photographer Sally Mann, who took home the 100,000 Swiss Franc prize.

After the exhibition in Dubai, “Fire” will continue touring to its next destinations, such as Mexico City, Singapore, Hong Kong, New York, And Madrid to name a few.
