Swedish boutique hypercar-maker Koenigsegg has revealed a teaser for its upcoming model. According to the company the new car, which is yet unnamed, will challenge everything that we have come to expect from ultra-pricy and performance-orientated luxury cars. While the specs have not been revealed, we expect nothing short of extraordinary performance from the upcoming model. Here we look at some of the most important Koenigsegg cars since the company’s inception in 1996.

KOENIGSEGG CCR: Revealed in 2004, this was a more powerful version of the Koenigsegg CC. It had larger tyres and wheels and bigger brakes. The suspension was also upgraded while the twin-superchargerd engine developed 806hp and 920Nm of torque.

KOENIGSEGG AGERA: The successor to the CCX was the Agera, which boasted eye-widening performance stats. It hurtled through the benchmark 0–100 km/h run in just 3.0 seconds. Expectedly, top speed was a stunning 420 km/h. Several variants of the Agera were produced over the years.

KOENIGSEGG REGERA: Dubbed as a mega GT and launched in 2016, the Koenigsegg Regera had a planned production of only 80 units. It hits the 100km/h from standstill in 2.8 seconds. Curiously, the top speed for the model was dialled down to a mere 410 km/h.

KOENIGSEGG JESKO: Launched in 2020, only 125 units of this performance beast will ever be produced. Buyers can choose from a track-oriented Jesko or the Jesko Absolut versions. The latter’s claimed top speed is a phenomenal 500km/h.
