I've had my mother-in-law in town, who just so happens to be the most wonderful cook, she is in part responsible for a considerable amount of my ex-muffin-top...

We share a love of thick buttered toast, cheese and kit kats. I was a little apprehensive of her visit, not wanting to appear rude with teeny portions and 'no thanks, no pudding for me'. Not to mention the amount of will power that I would have to exert! I got through it though. I planned our meals from healthy eating cook books and tried not to let on that they were too good for you. I've got more visitors here this week so i'll be challenged again but they're pretty health conscious too so I think we should be ok. The fitness is going really well, I can really see and feel the difference. I feel so toned and fit inside and I sometimes get a little frustrated that It's not a tiny size 6 hotty looking back at me in the mirror. I still have a long way to go for my perfect body, but this kick-start has created a lifestyle change, so it's all there on the cards, I just need to stick with it. The life coaching seems to have clicked. I wish I'd known about it sooner, but maybe I wouldn't have been as ready for all the change then as I am now. Carolyn laughs at the memory of the defensive me that sat on her chair 5 weeks ago.
Im back at work now and my sons back at nursery, work is crazy and I've never been busier. It feels great. Things are good.
