Dubai has been the scene of a plethora of educational events in recent months, each promoting a specific education destination.
On February 3, the MBA Tour, which hasnt visited the region since 2001, is bringing some of the top business schools from Asia, Canada, Europe and the US all under one umbrella.
This exclusive fair gives prospective students an insight into the process of MBA admissions and the unique opportunity to confront admissions directors with direct questions such as: If I do not have a GMAT score of 600, will I still be seriously considered for admissions? or Will my GMAT score determine whether I receive financial aid or not?
Informal and candid conversations between MBA aspirants and the people who sit on admissions committees at these top business schools will be possible at this fair.
Topical issues such as How are admission decisions made?, Do I really need work experience?, and What do I need to know about financial aid? - questions that almost every MBA aspirant asks - will be addressed through panel discussions.
Participants who register beforehand will also be eligible to participate in small round-table discussions with admissions directors to learn what makes an essay or interview successful, how the admissions committee evaluates work experience and what they are looking for in letters of reference.
Participants will also be invited to interactive sessions where MBA graduates from the region will reflect on their experiences abroad and their careers after graduation.
