Counselling Point Educational and Social Services along with Notes-Gulf News will host a seminar titled Head Start for Studies Abroad on September 21 at the Dhow Palace Hotel, Dubai.

The seminar will feature presentations from representatives of the British Council, Education Zone representing New Zealand and the Consulates of Australia, the US and Canada.

The annual event, held on the International day of Peace, aims to promote international understanding while at the same time, informing young adults and their parents about the options available at various educational destinations and the procedures for admission.

"We organise the seminar in the beginning of the academic year so that students who wish to study abroad can get a headstart and first-hand information about the opportunities available in some of the most sought after edu-destinations.

After Ramadan, there will be a spate of educational fairs and this seminar gives information on the upcoming events so that parents and students can research and plan ahead of time" said Rema Menon, Director of Counselling Point.

Those interested in attending the seminar can dial 04-397 8846 to register.
