‘Yeh Kali Kali Ankhen’ (Netflix): In this web series, the wealthy daughter of a goon falls in love with a local man – obsessively so. She’s the apple of her daddy’s eye and he’ll indulge her every whim, including getting her hitched to this fellow. Unfortunately for the groom-to-be, this ‘love’ is going to prove to be his undoing. Part-hilarious, part-sinister and fully interesting, ‘Yeh Kali Kali Ankhen’ promises to be quite the show.

Aranyak (Netflix): For this female cop, played by Raveena Tandon, an interesting case possibly involving a serial killer lands under her jurisdiction just as she was about to take a sabbatical. The narrative takes on a prism-style storytelling approach that winds down every possible path Savi may have chosen to show us what the outcomes of each of those decisions would look like.

The family drama 'Kaun Banegi Shikharwati'(Zee 5): This show portrays the story of Raja Mrityunjay, a lonely and broke royal of Shikharwati who owes the government a huge amount in wealth tax which he cannot afford to pay. The king's right-hand man, Mishra Ji, is desperate to rescue the palace and advises that the monarch call his daughters and reveal who would be the next successor to the throne and all of his worldly assets. As a result, whoever wins the throne will be accountable for managing the millions in fortune, and debt. Will the plan work?

A new Netflix show will delve into this very question through ‘The Fame Game’, which marks the digital series debut of acting legend Madhuri Dixit-Nene. Dixit-Nene, who ruled Bollywood in the ‘90s, stars as Anamika Anand on the show, a movie superstar whose personal life hides many truths.

‘Khufiya’ (Release date to be announced): Well-known filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj will direct this espionage thriller, which is based on Amar Bhushan’s novel, ‘Escape to Nowhere’. The film revolves around the life of RAW agent Krishna Mehra, who has to capture a traitor suspected of selling India’s defence secrets. She ends up facing a problem as she grapples with her dual identity as a spy and a lover. The Netflix movie stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ashish Vidyarthi.

‘Monica, O My Darling’ (Release date to be announced): This Netflix movie is a mix of crime, comedy and drama. The black comedy follows the story of a young man who is trying to succeed in life alongside some unlikely friends, and a strange plan to pull off the perfect murder. Watch out for actors Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, Radhika Apte and Sikander Kher as they star in this movie - in a plot with lots of twists and turns.

'Delhi Crime season 2' (Release date to be announced on Netflix): Shefali Shah will reprise her role as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi in the International Emmy Award-winning series, which will return for a new season this year. Despite the fact that the plot is yet to be revealed, the producers have confirmed that Vartika's team will take on a fresh case with even bigger stakes.
