The millionaire quiz show winner was voted off from dance reality show on Saturday
Sushil Kumar, the winner of “Kaun Banega Crorepati”, India’s version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, failed to repeat his success story on “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5” as he was voted out of the dance reality show on Saturday night.
Kumar first rose to fame after winning the jackpot prize of Rs.50 million on the fifth season of game show “Kaun Banega Crorepati”. He entered “Jhalak...” as a 13th contestant, whose identity was kept under wraps until the show went on air in July.
A non-dancer, the 27-year-old managed to win the hearts of judges Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza. Dixit fondly called him “antarmukhi” (introvert).
Kumar worked hard to match steps with his choreographer Alisha as they performed dance forms such as salsa, Bollywood and freestyle.
