Shaad Ali to direct Yash Raj’s Kill Dil

Bollywood director Shaad Ali, who directed famous bollywood movie ‘Saathiya’ is all set to return to direction after a gap of five years, with Yash Raj Films’ ‘Kill Dil’.

The filmmaker’s last outing was box office dud ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ in 2007, which starred actors Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Lara Dutta and Bobby Deol.

His comeback film ‘Kill Dil’ is a breezy but not frivolous romantic film and will be Ali’s fourth film with the studio. It is produced by Aditya Chopra and stars actors Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra. ‘Kill Dil’ will go on the floors in October and is slated for a 2014 release.
