The Pepsi stars wrap up the much-awaited Bahr Al Nujoom, a film that brings together talent from across the region.
After months of anticipation and excitement, Pepsi's superstars, Carole Samaha, Ahmad Al Cherif and Ruweida Al Mahrouqi, finally got together in Lebanon to wrap up filming of Bahr Al Nujoom (Sea of Stars), Pepsi's first foray into the world of movie entertainment.
Attended by the media and guests, the all-day movie casting was a melange of excitement and hard work. Professionally-made and glamorous, Bahr Al Nujoom is all set to shake the movie industry when it hits theatres early next year.
Says Mustafa Moussa, the regional marketing director of PepsiCo International, "The star-studded cast, fantastic musical score and full length feature film put PepsiCo International firmly at the forefront of innovative and entertaining marketing strategies."
The film has brought together five singing sensations Haifa Wehbe, famed for her smash-hit single Ana Haifa; Wael Kfoury, known for hits like Bhebbak Ana Kteer; and actress/singer Carol Samaha, who recently received rave reviews for her performance in the theatrical musical production Zenobia.
The film also includes fast-rising talent Ahmad Al Cherif from Star Academy, renowned for his hit single Sahran Maaki Elleila, and Ruweida Al Mahrouqi, who rose to fame with her hit Wareeny after participating in Studio Al Fan, a popular Lebanese TV programme.
The movie also involves some of the region's most talented actors: Saeed Saleh, a veteran who has helped shape the Arab movie industry; Lutfi Labib, famous for his role in 1/8 Dastit Shayateen; and the adorable Kareem Abdel Aziz, who took part in the renowned Al Masri series and is the son of Egyptian legend Mahmood Abdel Aziz.
Awe-struck Chantal Salem, the winner of Pepsi's 'meet the star' online competition, was also on the set. She was thrilled and hoped that the fun would never end.
