Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has been forced to change controversial scenes from his movie, Not A Love Story, which is based on the infamous murder of actress, Neeraj Grover, just weeks before its release. Although Ramu had maintained that his movie is a work of fiction and not a realistic representation of what might have transpired between Maria Susairaj and Emile Jerome – who were convincted of the May 2008 killing – he has been forced to change certain scenes to ensure that his movie is released at the cinemas.

We hear that he’s re-edited a few scenes after he received lawyer’s letters from Susairaj and Jerome, with a source spilling, “Since Not A Love Story is yet to get a clearance from the censors, Ramu can’t let anything jeopardise its release.”
