What's your workout music?

I have this playlist titled ‘stomping'. These are the tunes that keep me motivated when I'm on the treadmill.

What music do you love?

My taste in music is extremely varied and I love exploring new sounds.

Music you grew up to?

One of my first record purchases was Roy Ayers'  Everybody Loves the Sunshine.

Favourite genre?

I seem to be drawn to defiant music by Sixties'  female artists. One of my all-time favourite tracks is Marlena Shaw's Woman of the Ghetto.

Most special music memory?

The love of music brought me and my husband together. Our wedding song, a soul version of Sam & Dave's Hold on, I'm comin', is very special to me.
