Kat loves romance
The romance in Katrina Kaif's personal life may be out of the window right now, but the pretty lass has realised that romantic comedies are her strength. Kaif says, "Romantic films interest me the most. I love romance. It always holds a special place in peoples' minds when they watch movies. They relate to romance and dramas more than anything else." And it is Kaif's onscreen chemistry with Akshay Kumar that has captured the imagination of the public. Could it also be the reason for the rift in her relationship with Salman Khan?
Real-life love story turns sour
After long-time lovers Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan called it quits, it is Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja's love story that seems to have gone into cold storage. According to friends of the couple, Baweja has become extremely irritable after his debut film Love Story 2050 bombed at the box office and feels that he has no time or need for romance. He would rather concentrate on his career and on improving his ratings before he focuses on matters of the heart. But what about Ashutosh Gowariker's What's Your Rashee?, in which Chopra and Baweja share screen space? Since the two are being extremely professional right now, they have decided that they will not allow personal disenchantment to overshadow a golden opportunity like this.
Shiney wants to be left alone
Shiney Ahuja is up in arms against the media for continously speculating about his personal life. Ahuja kept his marriage and his daughter a well-guarded secret and a glossy claims that the star hid the fact to hold on to his female fans. The actor says, "I think my silence is being mistaken as my weakness. Why can't people just leave me alone? Why is my life of such great concern to people?" he asks. "I'm only answerable to my family. My wife Anu is happy being away from the media attention. If others feel that I'm intentionally keeping her away, so be it. I'm not going to get my wife and daughter in front of the media." He warns his detractors, "Don't mess around with me."
Sanjay boots shahid
Rumour has it that Sanjay Dutt got Shahid Kapur kicked out of Kidnap – a movie in which Dutt plays the lead – and got Imran Khan to replace him. Insiders say that Kapur did not interact much with Sanju when they last worked together in Waah! Life Ho To Aisi and the star thought that Kapur had an attitude problem. By the time Kapur's friends explained to Dutt that Kapur was merely awed by Dutt's star power, he had already made his decision. So now, Khan has been asked to shape up for the macho role.
Shedding the flab
Abhishek Bachchan does not believe in fad diets when it comes to losing weight. The star is apparently on an idli (a South Indian dish) diet. After piling on the pounds for Guru, Abhi was asked to shed it all for Dostana. Now when his co-stars John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra are in enviable shape, Abhi could not get away with his extra flab – hence the diet. But why idlis? Is it his South Indian wife (Aishwarya Rai) who is deciding his food habits?
