Majid awards young artists

Dubai: Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture, on Monday honoured the ten winners of the Shaikha Manal's Young Artist Award at a ceremony held at the Dubai Ladies Club.

The award was launched by Shaikha Manal Bint Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Women's Establishment, to encourage young talents.

Paying tribute to Shaikha Manal for nurturing local talented artists, Shaikh Majid said, "Artistic competitions have tremendous contributions in opening up opportunities for emerging creative minds and artists in the UAE and the region to showcase their works before global artists."
