Visitors tell Gulf News about their Gitex experience
Gulf News Web Sub Editor Kerry Anne Henrico approached a variety of different people attending this year's Gitex technology fair and asked them why they were there.
Noor Khaldi, a Software Developer from Jordan was on his first Gitex visit to check out latest technological innovations for his company. Noor said of Gitex: "They have so much on offer, it's very well organised and I have found a lot of products which will be of benefit to my company's products."
Taiwanese Marketing Specialist, David Yang, said Gitex is, "Pretty cool, it's massive. Attending Gitex is a definite must for IT professionals who are looking to expand their market share in the Middle East."
Iranian student, Mina Mohit, working as a promoter at the Sanyo stand said: "It's a great experience, you get to meet professionals from all over the world, interacting with different people is definitely the best thing about Gitex."
This tech savvy youngster was also in awe of all Gitex had to offer. "I love the presentation and display of the various tech gadgets, being here really welcomes you to the real world of whats out there in terms of the latest technology," Mina added.
IT Auditor, Sabu Thomas, is an annual Gitex visitor who is "constantly on the look out for products or innovations that will enhance the aspects of IT Security." However, Sabu found that "this years coverage isa little less than the previous year but I have still seen a lot of products that will be of benefit to our company."
