Deals worth Dh385m are for infrastructure projects
Dubai: Dubai’s Drake & Scull International (DSI.DFM) on Monday said it has been awarded two contracts totalling Dh385 million for infrastructure work at projects in Saudi Arabia and India.
“We are continuing to move forward with our expansion drive across the region and India,” Khaldoun Tabari, DSI’s chief executive, said in a statement posted on the Dubai bourse website.
Its Indian subsidiary has signed a Dh205 million contract with a private energy company in that country for the design, engineering, inspection and delivery of a coal conveyor system from a mine head to a thermal power station in the state of Odisha, DSI said.
The Saudi contract worth Dh180 million includes complete engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the Information Technology and Communication Complex Auxiliary works.
