In keeping with its dramatic recent growth, the Armada Group plans to build a new headquarters complex in the Dubai Internet City, officials said.

"We are excited by the prospect of building our new headquarters in Dubai Internet City," said Dr Mohammad Raheef Hakmi, chairman of the Armada Group.

"The Armada Group's present business has expanded greatly. We badly need extra space.

"I am certain our new headquarters will not only be a physical improvement over our present headquarters, but will also create a work environment conducive to future business expansion," he said.

The Armada Group will invest Dh25 million in the four-storey building.

The new headquarters will have an occupancy floor space of 75,000 square feet.

One floor will be dedicated to the administration section, and another will be for the technical and engineering teams.

The third floor is expected to be devoted to the Armada Group's marketing department.

"As our business has greatly expanded over the last few years, the space at our old headquarters has become too cramped.

"We found ourselves requiring a more spacious work environment, as further future expansion of our business became certain," Dr Hakmi said.
