DUBAI
Dubai Economy has launched two endowment initiatives, one for awareness and the other for economic knowledge, as part of the Year of Giving.
The awareness endowment will support firms demonstrating their social responsibility through sustainable community contributions; the knowledge initiative will provide free training courses to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) develop.
The endowments were launched in cooperation with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy.
Sami Al Qamzi, Director-General of Dubai Economy, said, “The Year of Giving declared by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan represents a great opportunity for every entity to enhance its position in doing good to the community.”
