Empire Aviation Group to become region's largest corporate operator

Dubai: Empire Aviation Group (EAG) is set to become the region's largest corporate fleet operator only two years after the company launched its business at the Dubai Airshow 2007.

The Dubai-based general aviation company offers a broad portfolio of aviation services, including aircraft sales, aircraft charter, air ambulance services, aircraft management, aircraft financing and insurance.

Empire Aviation Group will also announce plans for a new Lifestyle@Empire luxury travel division at the show.

The division will complement the private charter operation, and development of its remote and third party aircraft management operations, which includes the Tourism Development and Investment Company in Abu Dhabi.

Empire already has a mixed fleet of 15 aircraft under its management and will add at least another five planes to the managed fleet before year-end.

This will be based on owners assigning their aircraft under the company's management and the sale or management of two further Hawker 4000s.

Lifestyle@Empire is an extension to the company's luxury charter operations and will offer unique luxury travel packages to a world of exotic destinations and experiences.

Start-up

Paras Dhamecha, Empire Aviation Group joint executive director, said: "Empire Aviation Group has had a fantastic start-up period over the last two years despite challenging global and regional market conditions.

"The asset management model we adopted from the beginning has proved to be effective and robust and, with a strong aircraft sales pipeline and active interest in our management and charter operations, we are very confident about the prospects for the company as we come to the Dubai Airshow 2009," he said.

Market conscious

EAG was established in July 2007 to meet the rapidly increasing regional demand for private aviation. The company operates out of the Dubai International Airport.

Empire Aviation Group is a GCC regional distributor (with exclusivity in some countries, including the UAE) for Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, a world leader in business, special mission and trainer aircraft manufacturing.
