Alexie Mae Brooks was born in Lebanon to an American father and a Filipina mother who worked overseas as an OFW.
Alexie was raised in Leon, Iloilo, by her grandmother, Lola Basing. Lola Basing passed away in September 2024, a loss that Alexie continues to honor publicly.
In 2022, Alexie was named Most Valuable Player by UAAP for her performance in track and field. That same year, she represented the Philippines at the Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.
Alexie credits her athletic background for setting her apart in pageantry. She approaches competitions with discipline, confidence, and purpose, carrying the same drive she had on the track to the global stage.
'Abanse Babaye' focuses on women’s empowerment and promoting health and well-being. She emphasizes the importance of self-care as a foundation for caring for others and the environment.
Alexie’s androgynous look—balancing masculine and feminine traits—challenges traditional beauty standards.
In early 2024, Alexie made history as the first Black and androgynous woman to win Miss Iloilo.
On April 19, 2025, Alexie took home the Miss Eco International crown during the grand coronation night in Alexandria, Egypt.
