Beirut: Six bombs went off in different locations in Beirut early on Monday morning, causing damage, but no casualties, Lebanese news website Naharnet reported.
The makeshift bombs were placed across the Corniche Al Mazraa district in Beirut.
Local radio said a bomb first exploded at 2:30 am, followed by another 10 minutes later. The four other bombs detonated soon after.
The bombs caused substantial damage to nearby shops and cars, but no one was injured.
Security forces have been deployed to the district to control the situation.
