Cairo: The death toll from a rockslide in Cairo earlier this month rose to 101 after rescuers pulled out five more bodies from the rubble, according to reports on Friday.
Rescuers have started to break a rock to free 17 victims of one house crushed under it, the Al Masri Al Youm newspaper reported.
Many houses were destroyed and scores of people buried after a rockslide in the shanty town of Al Deweiqa on September 6.
