Tehran: Iran has sent a new letter to the European Union over its nuclear dispute with the West, the Isna news agency reported.
Isna reported that the letter from Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili was delivered to EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana.
Solana said the letter complains about western policy towards Iran. "But our policy is clear. It's a double-track approach," he said in Berlin on Tuesday.
He was referring to the dual approach of diplomacy and threat of sanctions.
Asked whether the letter would make negotiations with Iran more difficult, Solana replied: "It's just a letter."
The United Nations Security Council last week issued a fourth resolution against Iran, urging it to stop its nuclear activities.
