Car bomb explodes in central Turkey

Istanbul:  An explosion shook a police station Friday in the town of Pinarbasi in the central Turkish province of Kayseri on Friday, broadcaster NTV reported. 

The bomber and one police officer have been killed.

Nineteen people were wounded in the attack, six of them seriously, NTV said. The broadcaster also said a second bomber was involved.
