Blast near US embassy in Yemen

Sana: A soldier has died in an explosion near to the US embassy in the Yemeni capital, Sana, according to news agencies.

Associated Press reported that an official from the Interior Ministry said a guard died in the blast. Other guards and some school children were also wounded.

Reports say unknown attackers fired a mortar at a school next to the embassy. It is unclear if the embassy or the school was the target.
