Oman: Japanese merchant vessel MV Stolt Valor was in Muscat on Saturday after pirates released the hijacked ship.
The ship was carrying 25,000 tonnes of chemical cargo from the US to the Kandla port in India when it was seized two months ago.
The pirates reportedly released the ship after paying ransom of $2.5 million.
The ship's Captain Prabhat Kumar Goyal called the ordeal a "nightmare".
"It was not only an ordeal but also a nightmare for all of us on board the Stolt Valor," Goyal noted in a written communication to the Director General Communication.
