London: Britain's top archbishop has said Christians in the Middle East have suffered because of the recent foreign policy of the US and UK.
The Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams says many Christians believe Western military action in places like Iraq and Afghanistan has left many with the belief that Christianity is an aggressive religion.
Williams recently attracted criticism when he said Muslims in Britain should be allowed to practice some aspects of Islamic law.
