Atlanta: Two people died with others left seriously wounded after a Tornado struck the northwest of Georgia on Saturday, just a day after Atlanta's downtown was battered by a twister.
After the storm with wind of 130 mph (216 kph), 30 were rushed to the hospital and one was in a critical condition, said the police and Atlanta Mayor.
Buzz Weiss of the Georgia Emergency Management Agency said one died in Polk country and the other in Floyd County.
"It was a very significant, very serious storm. There's lots of damage," said Weiss.
