Warsaw: Poland's president snubbed celebrations in parliament on Wednesday marking the 20th anniversary of the country's first free elections, prompting a rebuke from former Solidarity trade union leader Lech Walesa.
President Lech Kaczynski, a conservative eurosceptic, is a strong critic of Walesa, who as leader of Solidarity played a crucial role in toppling communism in 1989.
Walesa and other leaders attended the celebrations.
