Oslo: Six people died and one was missing when a building housing Polish workers caught fire in the Norwegian town of Drammen, public broadcaster NRK reported on Monday.

About 20 people were in the building in Drammen, southwest of Oslo, when it caught fire on Sunday morning, police said.

The building was home to many Polish migrant workers. Residents tring to escape the flames jumped out the windows, the daily Dagbladet reported.

Police told NRK that they did not yet know what had caused the fire.
