Katmandu: Police official says three near-simultaneous explosions have rocked Nepal's capital, Katmandu, but no casualties have been reported.
Police official Sharad Thapa said the explosions were loud but did not wound anyone because it is night time and relatively few people and cars are on the streets.
Police are investigating Friday's explosion. Thapa said they
suspect the blasts were an attempt to try disrupting elections scheduled for April 10.
